Cookie Policy

Flight Logbook only uses analytics and marketing cookies if you allow them. You can change your choice at any time.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Flight Logbook is run by Danconia AB. This policy describes the cookies the website uses, why it uses them, and how you decide which ones are allowed.

Necessary cookies

These make the website work and are always on. They are not used to track you.

session: keeps you logged in and protects the forms against forged requests. Kept for 30 days after your last visit, or until you log out.
fl_consent: remembers your cookie choice, so that we don't ask again on every page. Kept for 6 months.
Google reCAPTCHA: on the Sign Up page only, to stop automated sign-ups. Google may set its own cookies for this.

Analytics cookies

Only with your permission. Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, shows us which pages are visited and how the website is used, so that we can improve it.

_ga and _ga_4T22HNPZG0: tell visits apart. Kept for up to 2 years.

Marketing cookies

Only with your permission. Google Ads measures whether our ads lead to sign-ups.

_gcl_au: links a sign-up to the ad that led to it. Kept for 90 days. Google may also set its own advertising cookies.

Tutorial videos

Our tutorial videos are hosted on YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video is played in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube may store data on your device to play it.

When you are logged in

No analytics or marketing cookies are used inside the logbook, whatever you have chosen. Only the necessary cookies are used there.

Your choice

When you first visit the website you can accept all cookies, reject all except the necessary ones, or choose in the settings. Nothing from Google Analytics or Google Ads is loaded until you have chosen.

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings, also found at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your permission, the analytics and marketing cookies are deleted. You can also delete cookies in your browser's settings.

Google may process the data from analytics and marketing cookies outside the EU/EEA, including in the USA.

Changes and contact

If we change how we use cookies, we update this page and ask for your permission again when needed. Questions about cookies or your personal data: admin@flightlogbook.com.
