Import
Years of flying shouldn't stay behind in an old app, a spreadsheet or a paper logbook. Whatever your logbook looks like today, there is a way in, and nothing is saved until you have seen it.
Export your flights from LogTen and upload the file as it is. No spreadsheet work: times, landings, crew, aircraft, simulator sessions and remarks come along, up to 10,000 entries in one file.
LogTen doesn't export the names of your own fields, so for each one we show the total and an example flight. Look it up in LogTen and tell us what it is.
Give the export to ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant together with our prompt. It knows exactly which columns the import wants and hands you a file back.
Prefer to do it yourself? Download our Excel template, with a note on every column, and fill in one row per flight.
Photograph a few pages at a time and let the AI assistant turn them into the same file. If your logbook is in local time, it asks for the time zone, since Flight Logbook stores times in UTC.
Handwriting is hard to read, for people and AI alike, so check each page against its page total before you import.
Not every flight needs to come along. Log your earlier hours as one entry per aircraft type, done in a minute, and start logging each flight from today. Your career totals include them from day one.
Every new account starts with three months free, no card needed. Plenty of time to bring your history and see it in your statistics.
