Digital Pilot Logbook

Flight Logbook is a digital flight logbook that runs in your browser. Log flight time, aircraft and crew, keep track of your recency, import the logbook you already have, and generate EASA or FAA reports as PDF. Built for airline, general aviation and helicopter pilots, whether you fly for a living or for the pleasure of it.

Works on Every Device

Logbook working on all devices Logbook working on all devices

Flight Logbook is a web application, so there is nothing to install and nothing to keep updated. Log in from a laptop at home, a tablet in the crew room or a phone in the car park, and it is the same logbook on all of them. No downloads, no syncing, and no version that is newer somewhere else.

Pricing

Flight Logbook is completely free to use until:

2027-01-01

After that it will be affordable. That is a promise.

Log Every Kind of Flight Time

Every flight is recorded with block times in UTC, route, distance and flight number. The time is then split the way your licence requires: P1 and P2, dual received and dual given, IFR, night, NVG, simulator, single and multi engine, single and multi pilot, cross country, solo and instructor time. If you log something the standard fields do not cover, add your own.

Statistics and Recency

Flight logbook statistics

See your totals by aircraft type, by year, by role or over any period you choose. Recency is tracked as you log, so you can see how many landings you have left before a currency lapses, and your certificates and limits are kept alongside with their dates.

Import the Logbook You Already Have

Moving from another digital logbook, or from a spreadsheet, should not mean typing everything twice. Import your history from CSV and Flight Logbook matches aircraft and crew as it goes, showing you what it found before anything is saved. Your data leaves the same way it came in, as CSV whenever you want it, so you are never locked in.

EASA and FAA Reports

Sooner or later someone needs to see your logbook: an interviewer, an examiner, an authority. Flight Logbook produces a two-page EASA logbook in accordance with FCL, an FAA version in accordance with FAA standards, and a plain PDF of any period you select.
